There has been more and more evidence of the healing power of antioxidants. Beta-carotene, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, selenium and as a result have been sold in pill form.

Living in a pill pop society will not quick-fix our vitamin and mineral deficiencies. There is no magic pill that will work overnight - in actual fact you may be doing your body more harm than good.  All of the factors that make up a plant, the phyto-chemicals, the fiber, and the vitamins all work together to create the true benefits we receive.  It's best to turn to nature rather than popping a pill.
