How Stress Affects Your Health

We all get stressed from time to time.  It is very hard on our body, many of us are unaware the fact that many imbalances occur.  Recent scientific studies have indicated that stress could be one of the main causes of many auto-immune diseases including cancer.  Here are some ways stress can negatively affect your health.

  1. Evidence shows that increased cortisol hormone levels caused by prolonged stress can lead to overall weight gain
  2. Chronic stress creates the scene for high blood pressure conditions or even a stroke
  3. Chronic Fatigue occurs when muscles become tight and become over-worked and leave us with constant agony
  4. Recent studies are now linking stress with a multiple of conditions.  Stress related conditions, include depression, migraine headaches, chronic fatigue syndrome, reproductive disorders, skin imbalances and many others.
