Hundreds Gather in Cross River for Community Wellness Day
O2Living and Natural Awakenings host free community health and wellness event
Cross River, New York (June 20, 2011) – O2Living, Northern Westchester’s premier natural health and wellness community offering a Live Food Café, therapeutic spa, juice cleanses, all natural skin treatments and products, yoga, and meditation classes, in partnership with Natural Awakenings, recently hosted a Community Wellness Day in Yellow Monkey Village to educate families on the importance of living a wellness‐centric lifestyle that nourishes the body from the inside, out.
Featuring more than a dozen wellness lectures, an interactive raw foods cooking class, demonstrations, and health and wellness vendors, the event brought together some of Westchester’s leading health and wellness experts to share their insights on how people can integrate natural wellness therapies ‐‐ a healthy diet, all‐natural spa treatments, and exercise programs such as yoga and qi gong ‐‐ to nurture their bodies, minds and spirits.
“We were thrilled with the turnout for our first Community Wellness Day and excited to see how many local families are interested in living a natural and wellness‐conscious lifestyle,” said Rosemary Devlin, founder, O2Living. “We hope that those in attendance will find easy ways to integrate the wellness lessons they learned into their everyday lives and impart their newfound wisdom upon this and future generations.”
