Quinoa is a complete protein and contains all eight essential amino acids. The delicious light and fluffy texture has a whole grain ability to fill you up. Great quick fix for a group of 8 guests - simply add your favorite fruits and vegetable for additional flavors.
Rinse quinoa in a sieve until water runs clear, drain and transfer to a medium pot. Add water and bring to boil. Cover, reduce head to medium-low and simmer until water is absorbed, usually 15 to 20 minutes. Set aside for 5 minutes; uncover and fluff with a fork.
